I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or have a solution. When i pair my phone with the uconnect system in my jeep, the music is choppy. I have called the manufacturer and they said my jeep is up to date. I've also wiped my phone completely and its still having issues. I recently upgraded my phone from the 8 plus to the 9 plus...and its still choppy. Does anyone know what the problem is ?

So it was choppy before as well when you had S8+? Also, did you try pairing your phone with a different car and see if the same issue there? If you don't face this problem with a different car, then definitely problem is with the jeep bluetooth.

Ya it was choppy with the s8+ too....which is weird. I tried pairing it with our Dodge Ram and it was choppy as well. Could it maybe be the music app im using ? I'm using the Samsung Music app....

Yeah if it was choppy on your Dodge uconnet as well, then it must be software issue. could be the player yep. Wanna try with a 3rd party music app? i.e Spotify / Musixmatch.

I did try uninstalling the Samsung music app and installed a different one...and it was still choppy...so i went back to the Samsung app. Im wondering if it's something corrupted in my music..maybe from a song i downloaded...because it was choppy with the 8 plus...and still choppy when i transfered to the 9 plus...so when i did the smarth switch with the phones...it went over to the new phone..Also, when i use my bluetooth for calls...it's clear as a bell... This is driving me crazy 😣

Hey @Jeepgurl07, please take your device into a Samsung Service Center so that they can physically inspect your device in order to figure out the issue.

Oh no sorry to hear that. I don't really think it's the music files.. when you listen to those songs using headphones or phone speakers, they play good right? or is it choppy like that as well?
I also don't think it's your phone. You have better odds at winning the lotto than having the exact problems on two different flagships lol.

When i listen to songs on my ear buds its fine. I did notice that when its acting up if i unlock my phone, the chopping stops and its fine....so maybe its a setting on the phone ?...

And i have spoken with Samsung directly on the phone Jenna, and they say that they are not sure whats going on. That's why i am looking elsewhere for a solution...

I think i might try the geek squad at best buy...couldn't hurt. Its just frustrating to pay $1000 for a phone and have problems that can't be explained....it's nice to have somewhere to ask questions though 😊
