Call Barring not working

Hi everyone.
I have an S8 that when I try to use call barring it says Gailed to read data, call barring rejected.
I have cleared the cache and even reseted the entire phone twice.
Can this be the company SIM?
Because I have contacted them and support end up tell me to contact Samsung, I did and was told to reset or bring the phone to repair, but the phone is already months so warranty is over.
Any one with this problem.
The carrier is Canadian Videotron.

What is call barring? You mean blocking?

Call Barring allows to Block international calls and others. It's not about blocking one number.

Call Barring is completely carrier sided. It has nothing to do with Samsung or your phone. It's Videotrons problem. Contact their customer service and follow their advice.

I think this is a carrier problem because on my device it works. I am with Rogers in QC

just to be sure, you pressed the call button, the 3 dots on top righ, settings, mores settings, call barring, international settings, and it accepted, should have asked for a password.
Sorry just want to be sure so I can go and complain as I was told by service technic that wasn't them.

How can I make call barring to appear in complementary services. call barring is not seen in my galaxy S23 ultra

I have also resettled my Network reset. It did not bring call bearing in complimentary services

Richman I called and was told that wasn't them, and provably my phone defected.
