Camera since update is junk

Ok, when I first picked up my s8 the camera was amazing. Took pictures of people jumping in the air and they were perfectly crisp. Since than and a couple of updates later it is dreadful. I have tried to clear the cache, a soft reset, and now am getting frustrated since nothing is working. Also I am not really willing to do a total factory reset as I don't want to have to reconfigure everything, it's frustrating and again I doubt it would even fix the problem anyway.

Samsung camera is better than others, see if you have Auto mode selected when taking pictures. For in Motion I use Sports setting or Selective. Try these. Or wait for next update and it will get fixed number of time it happened with lots of people.

As far as I know there isn't even a sport mode on the s8. Also, I am currently in auto mode as I was when I used to take great pictures before they messed it up.

I forget to mention sports mode need to be downloaded , if you swipe from Left to right all the pre-installed mode will be shown and on top right corner you will find Download. from there you can download different modes

Downloaded sports mode... Complete waste of time. Didn't make any difference at all. Also I never had sports mode before and the camera was great. Now any motion from the subject at all and it's terrible. Super frustrating

problems with the câmera, faulty fingerprint sensor, horrible customer service for manufacture problems, the phone scratch like hell (so much for gorilla Glass 5). overall horrible purchase,, I'll sell my s8 and go for the competition. you should do the same.

I actually love everything about the phone. I don't have a single scratch on my screen, and I don't have a protector. Besides a case that covers the back. Apple is horrible with their stupid iTunes and complete control of what u want to do. I still love this s8, by far one of the best I've owned. I just hope they can fix the camera to how it was when I first bought the phone. It was flawless

The s8 only has a 12 MP.. My S6 has a 16 MP camera.. Samsung once again and again moving backwards.. The 7 update is just a ton of spam.. Don't waist your money..

For me the camera is absolutely amazing. For a phone, I've been able to take the best pictures with it, especially with Pro mode which is really cool. The best camera I've ever used on a phone. Top quality pictures. In my opinion, just the camera itself almost sells the phone. But I love everything else about it too. No regrets buying it whatsoever.
