Setting, Advances features, Side button. Your options are there. I don't see any mute option.

But Goodlock should have the features.

Hi fatkid,

We regret to inform you that, as of the One UI 8 update, the functionality to mute your Samsung device using the side volume button has been modified. The volume button now typically toggles between sound and vibrate modes, and the mute option is no longer included in the default cycle.

With the latest updates, users will gain access to new features and enhancements. However, as the update has already been installed, it is not possible to revert to the previous version or restore earlier functionalities.

However, we kindly recommend that you try the alternative steps provided and verify the outcome. They may prove helpful in resolving the issue.

Go to Settings
Advanced features
Motions and gestures
Turn on Mute with gestures

Then when you receive a phone call and want to silence it, you can turn your phone face down. Or just put your palm over the screen.

Unfortunately, pressing the volume button down once still works, however if it's held or pressed twice then it answers the call. This is a problem when trying to avoid unwanted calls I will admit. It takes getting used to when flipping the phone over to silence

It’s understandable how this change in behavior could be frustrating, especially when trying to avoid answering unwanted calls.

We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration for future updates. As the update has already been completed, reverting to the previous version or restoring earlier features is not currently supported. We remain committed to enhancing the user experience and thank you for your understanding.
