S24 Ultra native Email app scrolling problem. Version 6.2.06.0

Everything was working a couple weeks ago in the Samsung Email app (not Gmail, not Outlook) but now I cannot scroll in an email when composing. It does scroll, but as soon as I take my finger off it automatically bounces back to where I was before. Really irritating.

I did clear the cache (Does that ever actually solve anything?) Nothing changed.

Anyone have this same problem?

It worked once. Then on another try it didn't work. So I don't think this is a good workaround.

I'm sorry to hear that, I searched more about this problem this is actually a bug in android update sadly, nothing to do with samsung. That system apps update itself automatically so the best way around is the keep uninstalling that system apps update. If I hear more I'll share with u all.

I also noticed sometimes the scrolling doesn't even work on a new email. So the problem isn't isolated to replying.

I know I shouldn't post about another issue within one thread however I am curious if anyone else has this problem with the same email app. If I go to the Sent mail folder, my most most recently sent emails (the ones from just hours ago) appear as expected, but within just a few short seconds (5 seconds?), these most recent ones then magically disappear, right in front of my eyes. They are they and then ***, they are gone. Eventually (hours?days?) those emails reappear and then stay in the list. Super irritating and hard to post (keywords fail to attract people to the topic: "emails disappear. Missing emails in Sent log" hits all the wrong problems. This problem is clearly a bug of some sort, and not a configuration issue.

Does anyone else have the problem? I have tolerated it for years across multiple devices. So maybe it is somehow related to our email provider (Telus - big company, so 🤷 ). Anyone else?

A lot of people are having this problem. In the customer service chat I was told to take my phone to a service center

That's funny. I would bet a body part this is not a hardware bug. It's clearly a software bug due to a recent upgrade.

Yes, that's what I suggested...

The problem in software and hardware development is the teams doing the work don't use their own products. I imagine all the software developers at Samung are using iPhones and/or Outlook and Gmail. Why? Because how is it even remotely possible that nobody on the dev team has seen this problem, and that it requires an average user from Canada to report it?
