Can't set alarm for same day

I just upgraded to an S21 from an S10 and the clock doesn't allow me to set an alarm for later in the same day. I use this feature all the time and find it hard to believe this isn't possible. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Click on the plus sign, then set the time you want your alarm, then click on the the calendar icon and set the date back to the same day, done

The issue is you need to go to date and time in settings and fix time zone

I found the problem. There was a problem with my calendar setting and it's all good now.

What problem did your calendar have? I have the same problem but have no idea how to fix it. It just says 'can't set an alarm for a time in the past' when clearly the day I want to srt it is not in the past.
