Galaxy S
I'm unable to connect to my laptop on my network via the My Files app (like I've done for years)

My Files says it needs an update, but when I try to update it just says "cannot connect to server".
Doesn't matter whether I'm on WiFi or Mobile data, My Files always says "can't connect to the server"
Also, I can't find any Samsung app called "My Files" in the Samsung store to do a manual update from the store.
Is there a fix for this?
1. My Files says I need an update. So I click "Update"
2. It says it's "opening the Galaxy Store"
3. It always fails (100% reproducible), saying that it can't connect to the server
4. However, I can open the Galaxy Store directly from the Galaxy Store app with no problem... so I don't know why it's saying "can't connect to server"

DustOff's solution fixed it for me 👇
Settings > Apps > Network Storage Manager > App Details In Store > Update
After updating Network Storage Manager directly, go back to MyFiles and it will hopefully work. 🤞
