Contact's calls being blocked

Hi, 

I'm wondering if someone can help me with this issue...today, all calls from my mom are being blocked by my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G. After checking, she is not listed as a blocked number on my list. I have tried restarting my phone and re-creating her contact profile but my phone continues to block her calls. When I delete her contact from my contact list (without re-creating it), her calls do come through. I have no problem receiving texts from her. Has anyone come across this problem? 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 😞

When you recreate your Mom's contact in contact list, do you have the blue block icon beside the phone#?

If yes, click 3 dots (more) on bottom right -> unblock contact

No, I have checked and she's not blocked on my phone. So I am really confused as to why my phone is doing this 🙁. When she calls me, she is directed straight to my voicemail and my call records show that her call was a "blocked call". But she's not a blocked contact.

Trying your suggestion gives me the option to block her, not unblock her 😥.

Ok, check this settings.

Open Phone app -> Settings (3 dots on top right)

Try turn off Caller ID and spam protection.

And under Block numbers, turn off "Block unknown/ private numbers"

See if the phone numbers get block again or not.

I have the same problem with one of my contacts. How can we remove this phone number from spam list? Who manages this list... Samsung or Hiya?
