Has any1 changed CSC on their canadian samsung device recently. If so, did it wipe the phone?

I know until note 10, it was wiping phones but on note 10 it didn't wipe.

Wonder how it is on Canadian S22 ultra

If you Flash the "Home_CSC", it should NOT wipe your device. 

If you Flash "CSC" it WILL Wipe your device.

Don't know if this makes it clear what the difference is between Home_CSC & CSC... 

Flashing firmware with same CSC as your previous firmware then you can use Home_CSC and if you are flashing different CSC firmware then you have to use file which starts with CSC. You will lose data when not using Home_CSC because it contains different partition information and flashing this will delete you previous partition resulting loss of data but a successful flashing if you are stuck with Home_CSC.

Is this what you are asking & why do you want to change the CSC on your device?

When I go to the csc page and click bell and install

It asks to do sales and network or only network etc.

You're doing this from the Dialer it seems?

I haven't seen the option using Odin for network only or sales & network, but it sounds like "sales & network" would include Bell's bloatware?

I'm not sure. I've always Flashed the CSC with Odin.

So if you want to use the Dialer to change the CSC, I'd definitely backup your device with Smart Switch FIRST.

I don't know precisely what they mean by "sales & network", it could be just Bell's bloatware, but it could also mean Bell's VoLTE, RCS & WiFi Calling.

If the device was shipped with another Canadian Carrier's CSC, I think that changing just the network shouldn't wipe the device, but I'm not sure.

It likely depends on what they mean by the word "sales".. 🤔

Yes from the dialer it asks that. I believe Network doesn't and sales and network does wipe. But I could be wrong haven't had to do it in a long time
