I'm not sure when this stopped working, but when I bring up the "Wallpaper and style" setting, the current wallpaper is not shown. The home screen preview just shows a black background with the word "Live" in the bottom right. I am using an app that gives me a new home screen wallpaper daily. Because of this the color palette changer only gives me a color scheme for my current lock screen wallpaper, which is not helpful as that changes every time I see the lock screen. So how can I select a color scheme based on colors fromy daily wallpaper if the setting can't even see my wallpaper?
Hi csewell, please try to perform wipe cache partition and also check for any recent updates. Below are the steps to perform clear cache partition.
1.Turn off the unit.
2.Press and hold the volume up button and press and hold the on/off button. When the Android logo is displayed, release all keys ("Installing system update" is displayed before displaying the Android system recovery menu options).
3.Press the volume down key repeatedly to highlight "wipe cache partition".
4.Press the Power key to select. Press the Volume Down button to highlight "Yes" and press the Power button to select. When the wiping of the cache partition is completed, "Reboot System Now" is highlighted.
I'll give it a try. But I have a clumsy workaround. Every morning when I see a new wallpaper, I turn off the auto change feature and set it as a permanent wallpaper. Then it shows in "Wallpaper and style" preview and I can change the color palette. Then I go back in to the daily wallpaper app and turn the auto change back on so it will change the next day. A real pain, but now I can have the palette match the wallpaper.
