custom ROMS for snapdragon?

Hey I'm just wondering if there is a way to custom ROM snapdragon chipped devices? I know they have locked boot loaders but is it still possible?. I have an S9+ and I'm just thinking if I ever wanted to do something with it much later down the road.

Unfortunately, no unlocked BL means no custom ROMs. Get vocal about it if you want this to change.
