Galaxy SWhich Carrier are you with? Is your location remote?
You can try the following:
- Go to Settings & Search for "Reset" and Reset the Network Settings.
- Pop the SIM (if you're using a physical SIM) out & back in.
- Open the Samsung Members app & Click on Support & Phone Diagnostics, Run the Diagnostics for the SIM.. see if you get any error messages.
- Get a new SIM from your Carrier.
One of those suggestions should help resolve the issue.

Galaxy SHi polaris123, if your phone is dropping calls occasionally, it is most likely a signal issue. However, frequently dropped calls may happen because of a damaged or inappropriately inserted SIM card.
If you have recently changed carriers but kept using the same phone, you may need to contact your current carrier for assistance reprogramming the phone.
If calls are dropping only in specific locations, contact your carrier for details about their coverage and any outages they may be experiencing.
Before contacting your network provider, please try the suggestions given by RedDogRabbit and check if it helps to solve the issue.
If nothing works, as a last resort please perform back up and factory data reset on your device and check if it fixes the issue.
