I found this dust after close inspection, it doesn't seem to be effecting thing too badly but I can make it appear in photos and video.

You just received it, return it for a new one, no warranty service required. It's within the no questions asked return time frame.

They are expecting my trade in phone aswell, I fear this back and forth will cause my window to lapse, gah!

I wouldn't want warranty repairs on a brand new device! How much time do you have to return the one you are trading? It shouldn't take long to get a replacement for the S25.

You should have 14 days to return it, no questions asked.

Thanks everyone, I've started the process to return the device. Samsung gave an extention on my trade in to give me extra time for my replacement. They are assessing my situation before I get the instructions but I have already factory reset and packed up my device with video recording and photos of the process. It's unfortunate, the phone was perfect other than this very annoying issue.

I have this same issue, less than 10 days in. Unacceptable on a flagship almost $2000 phone. I have my S23 Ultra still. I will be promptly returning this phone, what a waste of time.20250616_111004.jpg
