Hi Jennielw, Could you please let us know the model number of your Samsung device and get back to us with the screenshot of the error message displayed so that we could review it.

Since you have update this morning, you can try the following:

- Reboot your phone, this may resolve some issues

- Get into recovery mode to do a Wipe Cache Partition. Let us know if you need instruction.

Hi Jennielw,

Try the following :

- Power off your phone completely
- Press and hold Volume up key and Power key at the same time
- Release both keys when in recovery mode
- Use volume up and down key for navigation
- Navigate to "Wipe Cache Partition"
- Press power button to select
- Click Yes
- Click Reboot system now

Try access contact again after reboot.

I did try to find out what is your error mrssage. Many indicate that cached data corrupted. Maybe try 1 more thing.

Open Settings --> Apps --> Contacts --> Storage

Click clear data and clear cache

Restart your phone and see if it helps. If not, factory reset is the last option. Good luck.
