Esim + sim

I just added an esim to my phone.

Have sim and esim now. How do I toggle which sim to use data from. I'm referring to when I'm not on a phone call

Should be Settings > Connections > SIM Card Manager;

Under the section Preferred SIM Card, you can select which SIM card will be used for calls, text messages and mobile data.

More settings has lock and remove sim options.

Primary sim is primary for calls and text which I want to keep as sim 1. I want data from 2

You won't be able to do that. You will have to set eSIM as the primary SIM, then manually toggle the SIM when making calls and sending texts. It's annoying, but not too much of a hassle, if you ask me. The toggle buttons are literally right there in each function, and require a single tap.
