Hi everyone, first time with this board. My problem is I was given a Samsung cell
SM-T210R. I want to transfer files from my pc as well as 2 Samsung tablets. I did a Bluetooth transfer that was very slow. I see Samsung has killed the Kies app and the recommended one isn't compatable with my device. I tried on my tablet with same result. USB connecting to pc shows battery but nothing comes up on 'My PC'. Looking for help..JOe
Hi Joe211, After connecting the device to the computer using the USB cable, please try opening the notifications panel, and then tap "Connected as a media device" → "Media device (MTP)". Tap "Camera (PTP)" if your computer does not support Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) or not have any appropriate driver installed.
Now, Please check if you are able to transfer the files successfully.

Hi there, I did download the usb drivers the other commenter suggested! I restarted omputer and plugged in the usb cable and to the phone. The battery icon came up and I finally got into the phone. Nothing that you said came up,I did see the icons for wi-fi, bluetooth etc. I hoped to see a usb icon or at least. I picked out 2 pics on computer and would usually copy to....and didn't see the phone! I used the 'send to and used the bluetooth option. I know I have to see the phone in the device list on 'My PC'..Joe

GREAT NEWS.. Hi Guy's, must be the new start of the year...but I am happy to say that I found the problem with a bit of troubleshooting! I tried out a brand new usb cable that came with my Libre Free and did the job. Heard the dingle on the pc and new connection windows came up.
Cables are not created equal and try this option first...Happy happy Joe
