I have been having troubles trying to get this sensor to work. It used to work fine but after a software update it ceased to work. I have tried to register my finger print 3 times in the phone registry and it won't work. Any ideas what to do?

You can try clearing your cache partition in recovery and see if that fixes your issue.

Press and hold both the power & volume up button until you see the recovery menu. Press volume down until you highlight clear cache partition, press power button to confirm, then it should be on reboot, press power button and you're done.

You could also go to Settings > Apps Toggle On "Show System Apps" & Search for Biometrics, Click on it & Scroll down to Storage & Clear BOTH Cache & Data for Biometrics. ⚠️

You'll have to redo your Finger Print & Face Unlock etc. ⚠️
