Not sure if it's just mine but with a glass screen protector on my phone I can't use the scanner. Anyone else have that issue?

Yup. A screen protector would do that. If there's a particular spot where you ought to place your finger, then i suggest to get a screen protector with a cut out.

Hi Hky75,

If you go to Settings → Biometric and security → Finger prints

Check added finger prints

Does your finger prints verified ?

If not, re-register them.

Try to understand...how it is not working? When pressing on fingerprint, it does not do anything? I just saw you said you are using glass screen protector.

Hi Hky75,

Try to remove stored fingerprints and add them again. Follow the below steps :

-  Navigate to Settings >> Tap Biometrics and security >> Then tap Fingerprints >> Select one of the stored fingerprints you’d like to delete >> Tap Remove >> Then tap Remove again to confirm >> Repeat these steps to delete any other saved fingerprints.
- Reregister your fingerprints: While you are still in the Fingerprints settings, tap Add fingerprint. Follow the on-screen instructions to register a new fingerprint.
Note Follow these tips for registering fingerprints:
- Hold the phone naturally, the same way you normally hold it.
- If your phone asks you to touch the sensor multiple times, move your finger slightly each time.
- Cover the entire sensor when touching it.
- Register more than one finger.

Also, follow the suggestions provided by our Members and get back to us with the result.

Hi. What kind of glass screen protector you put on your phone? Is it the one with uv light installation ?

The cut out screen saver is a good idea, you could also set your phone for touch sentivity, The Samsung s21 should have that setting.
