Hi there.
I don't know how you are using Instagram, but while I'm watching histories in full screen mode or on regular, almost always a picture looks like getting out of frame - you can't see the whole post There, if someone wrote a text you will miss some letters 100% !
So I contacted with Samsung support. in the result agent just reset all my apps setting and that's all. offered me to contact with Instagram...
any ideas? maybe experience to share ?
I already reinstalled Instagram - same issue.
open settings->display->full screen app's->Instagram( this app is optimized to run in a full screen) and you can't switch the trigger.
Thank you!

I have the exact same problem as you. Unfortunately I don't have any fix to share with you. I would think Instagram would have to fix the issue and maybe it's best you contact Instagram support? It seems like the app isn't properly set to use the new aspect ratio.

resizing of pixels due to aspect ratio of an app are specific to app settings. most phones would not have the unique aspect ratio the S8, S8+ or Note 8 would have by allowing the app to show full screen with no navigation buttons. This could only be corrected by instagram in a future app update.

it's because of the new aspect ration, the phone crops some of the image in order for it to fill the screen.
