Hello, i wonder if anyone had a simmilar issue with thier S10.
Since a while, my phone calls on speaker work great and the other person can ear me well, but if i change it to be on my ear and speak more privately, the other person say that my voice very lowm can't ear me and it looks like the sound ''cut'', so i can't make a normal phone call...it's always on speaker.

The 2 microphones holes are clean as far as i can, manually.
I have a ottherbox case, but it cover the sides, not the holes directly, so the holes are a little ''deep''.
The ''diag'' sections included in the phone say that it's ok (when i record, i can ear myself well on both microphones, but it's only a short record)

Any idea ? software issue or hardware issue ?
Thanks

I'd start with opening the Samsung Members app & Click on Support > Phone Diagnostics & run the Diagnostics for the Mic. See if you get any error messages?

Depending on the results of the Diagnostics, that will give you an idea of the next steps.

Thanks for the answer, that was one of the first thing i tried.
They ask you to record a short message on both of the mics, and it's working fine with this diag !

Is it just the one person who is saying that your voice is low.. or everyone?

Don't think that Wiping Cache or a Factory Reset will fix it, if it's everyone.

You might want to visit a Samsung Service Centre to get it checked out by a tech?

Yeah it's everyone.
I was wondering if it's a known problem with the S10.

It wasn't a problem on my S10+

You could try Removing & Reinserting the SIM, get a New SIM from your Carrier, Reset Network Settings...see if that helps?

Hi Raph766,

That's sad to hear this issue on your Galaxy S10 and appreciate your efforts in performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

Have you tried the above steps to remove and re-insert the SIM, resetting network settings? Are they worked for you?

If that doesn't work, you might need to get the device examined by the service technician to get if fixed.

Please visit the link given above by RedDogRabbit to know the nearest Samsung authorized service center.

Thank you.

Hello !
I already tried to re instert the SIM a couple of time since the issue, and it did nothing. But i did'nt try to reset the network setting.. i don't know why, but i have not so much hope with this step 😅.
Maybe i'll check with Samsung.
Thanks.
