A few days ago on my S10, my volume buttons stopped changing the volume when holding them down. I can only change the volume in increments one press at a time. The only thing that seems to temporarily fix it is restarting the phone. But then the issue comes back after a bit.

I'm having the same issue .

Sometimes it works with your finger down , sometimes you have to repeat press the button and sometimes I doesn't work at all.

I have an s10e, and it's started having this problem recently. it resolved itself after taking a screenshot by holding the power and lower volumes buttons, but not letting go for 5 seconds. not sure if it'll work for you, but it did for me.

Add me to the list this is also happening too. Don't remember when it started but resetting phone doesn't work and as someone suggested.. A screenshot for 5 seconds also didn't work.  S10+

I had the same problem on my galaxy A50.

It's somehow related tu the handsfree.

Once I connected the handsfree, it started asking me things about reading my notifications while using the headphones...

And much as I remember, able/disabling the feature was some thing like holding down the "volume up or down" for about 10 seconds or so...

I connected the handsfree (via 3.5mm jack) and held the volume down for about that 10 secs, and the magic happened. Now it just came back to normal...

Problem solved.

Wish it could help y'all
