G'day all.. RedDogRabbit?
I'd love to be able to come here to offer help to others, but, I can use the phone with not a clue as to how it works!.. I have another problem 🙄
Gallery.. when I do a screenshot, I end up with 2 or three!, always! Can I stop this somehow?
And editing.. it says you can copy or move pictures, but when I move them it has left the original where it was while adding the pic to my album! Why didn't it "move" it?
Help 🥴!

I use Screen Master Pro to take almost all of my screen shots, but even using Palm Swipe or Volume DOWN + Power, I only have the one screen shot.

It sounds like the issue for you is using Samsung's Gallery. I believe that it saves the original, which is why you end up with multiple images of the same thing.

F-Stop Gallery from the Play Store or QuickPic (NOT the one from the Play Store!!), but QuickPic Mod from an XDA Developer, WSTxda, which is available on his Telegram channel, or if you like, I could post the apk here?

Thanks so much RedDogRabbit, you're always there for me!
I'd appreciate you posting that app for me, and I'll check them both(all!) out.
So is the copy/move problem because of the Samsung Gallery app as well? It sure would be nice to get rid of both problems!
Now just one more (stupid) question.. when I start using a new photo app, can I switch all my pics to it, or just hang onto them where they are?

Here is the link to QuickPic Mod:

It's just a regular apk, so just download & Install.

Samsung's Gallery is likely to be the explanation for why you get multiple copies of pictures. I haven't really looked at it, but I would think that there's a way to avoid it happening.

I use QuickPic Mod as my "go to" gallery, and F-Stop. Both are equally good, I'm just more used to using QuickPic.

You will have to grant storage access to any new gallery installed, and you can't delete / uninstall Samsung's Gallery because it is a System App.

BUT you can open your pictures in whichever app you want.

Oh-kay! Here I go! I'll scoot the Gallery one out of site and start using the new one.
And of course, you'll here the scream 😱 if I find my pictures ending up on both of them!(?)!.. just kidding, or, maybe not 😏

Well, both Galleries will have access to all your photos. Think of any gallery as just a viewer. The images are not stored in the Gallery, regardless of which one you choose to view your pictures with. Images are stored in something like:

/storage/emulated/0/pictures

That's where the gallery will look to find them.. again, any gallery is JUST a viewer. Editing etc are just additional features.

Okay, I understand.
But, what about those screen shots I sent you?.. why is it trying to knock the piss out of me? Do I download anyway?
Okay, so I'm a nervous Nellie, but the last problem you helped me with WAS an app I'd downloaded, which corrected the problem when I uninstalled it!!
