Galaxy SNot sure if that will work.. I have Chrome, Samsung Internet & Internet Beta, and none are set as the Default browser. Some sites want to open Chrome, and others want to open Samsung Internet.. Disabling Chrome may work?

Galaxy SThat said, there are still sites that open chrome. I will post them here as I find them.
I know this because for a while I switched to the Edge browser because it has a convenient 'read article' button. I found that many links where opened in a chrome style mini browser, after which, I would have to hit the 3 dots and select 'open in default browser '
This also periodically happens with some document downloads. Whereby I'm forced to use Google pdf viewers and cloud options

Galaxy SIn fairness to you, I would have thought that you would need to use a Package Disabler or adb to disable it.. because most System Apps, don't give you the option to Disable them.
Maybe it's the anti-competition challenges that Google has been facing over the years?

Galaxy SHave you tried going to Settings > Apps & Disabling Chrome?
Chrome is a System App, and I was a surprised to see that "Disable" was an option for it.
