We don't know anything about the S25 so pretty hard to answer your question but honestly, that's something you should decide for yourself and not someone else. If your S22 ultra is still going strong and still like it, you can definitely wait, only you really know.

Ya I love my s22 ultra and I don't think it would really be that beneficial to upgrade yet until my major updates run out

Why not? 2 yrs old phone is not old. I just recently upgraded my phone of 5 yrs A50 to S24 ultra and I dont regret it.

I find upgrading disappointing. I would still have my Note 10 Plus if they didn't stop doing security updates

To be honest with you, you can say there are such disappointing things like the removal of the SD card slot, MST support, and the same old 45W charging speed is a disappointment but it's hard to deny that it's not a good upgrade, it's not shockingly a huge upgrade or deal-breaker, to be honest to get that upgrade u would be coming from something older than the galaxy s8, even if u have a phone like the s8 minus AI and wireless dex you have 90% of the same software feature and the phone still doesn't feel laggy speed wise aides from just being used to a 120hz display. However if ur worried about security updates u could use a phone 2 years or more without security update and still be safe and you could install anti virus software. To be honest I'd still buy the galaxy note 10+ as a daily driver if I was on a budget it will destroy any budget phones like the galaxy a54 or the a25

I would wait. Samsung has really screwed up with the S24 series. My S21 takes far superior photos than my S24 does. I even installed GoodLock Camera Assistant and all photos just look like over exposed, super saturated GARBAGE! SUPER DISAPPOINTED.
