Image issues

Hello,

Hey, so I have a base S23, and I can't seem to do anything with my images that I take. So to clarify, when I take a picture, it shows up in my samsung gallery, but there is a loading circle things on it like this:

So I don't know what to do, it won't go away or anything. 

Every since I updated to One UI 6.1, I've had the issue, it doesn't happen on every picture I take but just certain ones. I can't post them on Instagram or any social media platforms. If you need to me clarify anymore just leave a comment

I'd start with going to Settings > Apps Search for the Camera & Click on it > Scroll down to Storage & Clear Both Cache & Data for the Camera & Reboot.

You should also open the Camera & Go to it's Settings & Reset the Camera's settings. 

If you're still having the same issue, Boot into Recovery & Wipe Cache. 

Still have the problem, Backup the device & Factory Reset. 

You should also check to see if there's a hardware issue with the Camera. You can do that by opening the Samsung Members app & Click on Support > Phone Diagnostics & run the Diagnostics for the Camera, see if you get any error messages?

Last step would be to visit a Samsung Service Centre to get it checked out by a tech.

Hi, that's strange to hear this issue on your device.

Please Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data. This will essentially reset the Camera app. 

Setting > Apps > Gallery > Storage > Clear cache. If that doesn't work, clear data instead. 

You can also try performing wipe cache partition. If you wipe your cache partition, it removes any temporary files that may be causing the issue

1. Hold the Power button and Volume Down to open the power options where choose the Power off.
2. When the screen goes dark press the Volume Up and Power keys together.
3. Let go of all held buttons when you see the Recovery mode on the screen.
4. Then you should select Wipe cache partition. Use Volume Up to navigate and the Power button to accept it.
5. Choose Yes and press the Power key to confirm that operation.
6. After that select Reboot system now with the Power key."

No, you are only Clearing Cache & Data for the Camera, not your photos.

You'll see that the Camera's storage is less than 10 Meg.

Your photos are likely taking up several Gig of storage.

Hi Zach009, clearing cache will not delete pictures. It only removes the cache it simply clears the temporary files. 

Clearing the data will erase the cache and other data associated with the app, but will not affect the photos and videos stored on your device.

No idea why you have so much Storage being used by the Camera, that is possibly why you had a problem?
