Galaxy SIf you have a North American device, unless it's an old one, like the Canadian S7 phone, you can't Root it.. they all have Locked Bootloaders.
You can disable System Apps (including what you feel is bloatware) with adb or a package disabler.. they are not Uninstalled, just not visible to the user.

Galaxy SThen unless you have the International variant, there's absolutely no way to Root it. LOCKED Bootloader.
Like I said, only thing you can do is use adb or a package disabler.

Galaxy SNo idea?
Locking the Bootloader started with AT&T in the US I believe..Then other Carriers thought it was a good idea ..Then Canada jumped on the bandwagon. It was likely to prevent people from breaking their phones under warranty...unfortunately.
