My apologies as I'm not exactly sure how to word that title. So I have an s22 and I have somebody text messaging me and I'm suspecting some kind of sinistry behind it. They have sent me two MMS messages which I have yet to open or download because I have a feeling that once I do they're going to have access to my phone. is there a way that I can get that text conversation with their undownloaded MMS messages onto my tablet that has nothing of mine logged into it or on it, to open these picture texts to find out what they are exactly? I know some people would say just leave it alone who cares but there's been something happening in my life recently that Im trying to piece together. Opening these photos may help answer some of my questions. How do I access unopened or undownloaded MMS messages sent to my phone number on a different device so it does not affect my phone and they don't get access to my personal information? I've tried the textra app but unless I've already opened their image it doesn't send that media to email with the rest of the conversation.... I hope I made sense this is a very odd question I feel weird asking it but if anyone has any answers I would greatly appreciate it 😁 oh and my tablet is the Samsung Tab A7 Lite. Thank you in advance!!

Hi Atsirt, unfortunately, It is not possible to access a part of the MMS or text. once it is open it will download If you suspect that it is a SPAM, we suggest you delete it.

Do you recognise the number, have you tried a Google search for the number?

No I don't. The number is a 702 area code, Las Vegas. This person is saying they are in Florida... Very opposite ends of the country. I believe it's someone i know, possibly using TextNow but I'm not sure if this number is attached to that app or how to find out exactly. Im assuming they are trying to gain access to my phone not realizing Im aware they are not who they are saying they are.

Depending on what Plan you have with your Carrier, why not just send them a text, asking them to identify themselves.

That way you don't expose your device to any risks.

I don't understand the depending on plan with carrier part, my apologies. Would you mind elaborating for me?

What I mean is that I can send SMS/MMS to anywhere in North America & it doesn't cost me anything.

Some plans may charge you to send international texts.

So, if you might have an idea who sent you the MMS, I'd just ask them to identify themselves. 😉

If you know who it is, you could always ask them to resend the pictures if you want them.

If I do the call and text on other devices and set it up on my tablet which is under a Gmail account that is nothing to do with anything of my personal stuff it's just kind of a dummy account will I get those MMS messages on the tablet and be able to open them on that? because if they get into my tablet there's nothing they can find to ruin me financially get into any of my personal accounts nothing they won't have any leeway to mess with my life at all. And also if I can do that when I'm done with it am I able to just factory reset it and they're kicked out again or do they still remain in my tablet?
