My apologies as I'm not exactly sure how to word that title. So I have an s22 and I have somebody text messaging me and I'm suspecting some kind of sinistry behind it. They have sent me two MMS messages which I have yet to open or download because I have a feeling that once I do they're going to have access to my phone. is there a way that I can get that text conversation with their undownloaded MMS messages onto my tablet that has nothing of mine logged into it or on it, to open these picture texts to find out what they are exactly? I know some people would say just leave it alone who cares but there's been something happening in my life recently that Im trying to piece together. Opening these photos may help answer some of my questions. How do I access unopened or undownloaded MMS messages sent to my phone number on a different device so it does not affect my phone and they don't get access to my personal information? I've tried the textra app but unless I've already opened their image it doesn't send that media to email with the rest of the conversation.... I hope I made sense this is a very odd question I feel weird asking it but if anyone has any answers I would greatly appreciate it 😁 oh and my tablet is the Samsung Tab A7 Lite. Thank you in advance!!

You could use Call & Text on your Tablet, if it's supported by your Tablet.

If you Factory Reset, it will remove everything from the Tab.

Probably easier to just send a text to the number & ask them who they are, but up to you.

I believe they won't tell me the truth about who they are as they aren't going to want me to know they are trying to **bleep** me. I did ask but they are dodging the question so makes me start to think I'm right. If the tablet idea doesn't pan out in going to just call them out on what i think they are doing

Sorry if I already asked you this, but have you tried to Google the number(s) that they are texting you from? You can occasionally find out if the number(s) being used, have been reported as Scam or Spam numbers.

Yeah I think you did ask me but I did Google the phone number the area code and prefix come up but the last four digits I cannot find however everything else that shows up for the area code and prefix does come up as a scam so that's what I'm assuming it is they have stopped talking to me so I guess it is what it is they didn't get what they wanted and life goes on right LOL

Not really sure if their issue is "solved".

Deleting the MMS, doesn't help them with what is possibly the most important thing in their original question.

"I know some people would say just leave it alone who cares but there's been SOMETHING HAPPENING in MY LIFE recently that Im TRYING to PIECE TOGETHER. OPENING THESE PHOTOS MAY HELP ANSWER SOME of MY QUESTIONS. How do I access unopened or undownloaded MMS messages sent to my phone number on a different device so it does not affect my phone and they don't get access to my personal information?"

So the SOLUTION would ACTUALLY BEING ABLE to GET the INFORMATION from the MMS, without comprising the security of their device.

Go to Settings > Advanced Features > and select "Continue Apps On Other Devices", see what is there (if any), and remove what you don't want to have access.
