Galaxy SThe recent updates OREO and after did not fix the major software issue of moisture in USB port.
I am not even able to avoid it anymore by clearing cache and DATA from USBsettings in system apps. This was the only way around it.
This is a 24h/7 present issue since day 1 with my phone, 3 months ago. Not a single day goes by without it.
I bought a wireless charging pad, this is a way around but it's big and not really great to carry around.
Anyone has another way to fix this ? I called customer service and tech support to inform them of that major software issue, they said they never heard of it. (what was I expecting? Samsung are excellent at hiding major problems with their products..) Please tell me someone here is a technology master genius champion and can fix the issue ! 🤞🤞

Galaxy S1) reset your phone.
2) use a hair dryer and aim your charging port upwards so the water can evaporate. Blow hot air around and into the charging port, but don't heat up the device too much.
