New UI 7.0 ISSUE

Hi there! 

I'm rocking s23 ultra and today got the new UI - it's fun and interesting. 

One problem so far - battery percentage indicator disappears a few min after you restart the phone. 

Yes, turning the toggle on and off doesn't change a thing.

Another minor inconvenience with the new update is that any notifications on a lock screen such as SMS won't be in the middle like I had before, but as tiny icon at the left corner. 

Anyone experiencing these issues?

Regarding the battery percentage issue you're experiencing — we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We are sorry to hear the battery percentage disappearing shortly after a restart, even with the toggle enabled. We will consider this as a valuable feedback. Our team will look into this, and we hope to address it in an upcoming update.

As for the lock screen notification icons, this behavior aligns with the updated design direction.  Notifications now default to icon-only display for a cleaner lock screen appearance. If you prefer the previous, more detailed view, you can try customizing the lock screen using Good Lock > LockStar can provide more control over layout and appearance.

I'd like to see more people sharing the same experience.

As for the new minimalistic look I think Samsung should have done what they did with the new iPhone copy notification bar - let us use the old version, while converting iPhone users to Samsung phones with the familiar for them features.
I've been using good lock and other customization apps since they were available, none of them have control over that.
I love the update and new cool features!

Thanks! That fixed the icons. Battery icon is still an issue though, idk why. You have it alright
