Can you not set individual notification sounds for your contacts on the S20+?

I know you can do the ring tones, I'm trying to do the notification sound for the contact.

This is what I don't understand. Set ringtone for contact, you know how to do it. But you want notification sound for contact? In what situation you want to have contact notification?

@ChrissyB I am guessing you are asking about setting the individual notification sound for your contacts in messaging. If you are using Samsung text messages then open the app and pick the name of the person you want special notification sound for and then touch three dots top right hand corner and then pick notification and set your special sound under this
