I'd Uninstall & Reinstall Spotify.

I have their premium subscription, and I've never seen this.

I've uninstalled Spotify a couple of times, still get the message
this is also a premium version of Spotify on a Samsung S10,
Is there more than one way to uninstall Spotify

Not really, just uninstall it from the Play Store, or you can uninstall it directly from your phone.

You could also try logging out & then Settings > Apps & Spotify > Storage & Clear BOTH Cache & Data for Spotify & then uninstall it, but none of that should be necessary.

A Simple Uninstall should be enough.

Hi, It is a suggestion from Spotify app to link your Spotify account with Samsung account to easily log in and play across all your Samsung devices.

Make sure you’re logged into your Samsung account on your device.

Log into Spotify.

You’re prompted to link your Samsung account.

Note: This prompt is the only way to link your accounts.

It shows 3 times over a few weeks if your accounts aren’t linked.

I selected this but now cannot open Spotify on my laptop. Can't locate the password generated by Samsung.....where do I find the password

Try this: Logout on your phone & Login again with "Forgot password" & then generate your own password & remember it. Login on your computer.

@shayt - Maybe you need to disconnect link to Samsung account from Spotify. I found the help page from Spotify.
