After updating to one ui 5.0 when I am connected to a blue tooth device (like my truck) after I take a calland hang up the call will end as usual but the truck screen will still say I'm on a call. It's not the truck it's the phone as it affects my smart watch as well.

So far I've only tried clearing the cache of the phone app and the phone itself.

Any ideas?

Your device should have received an update on the 13th

If you didn't get it you should check although I am pretty sure your phone would have been telling you it was available by now

Hi, just to be sure is your issue solved after updating the device to latest version?

Hi, we are sorry that your issue is still not resolved.

If you haven't tried to boot your device into safe mode, we request you to please perform safe mode, it is possible that a third-party app is causing the issue.

In Safe Mode, your phone will not run any third-party apps.

This allows you to easily identify and remove the app that may be causing the problem.

To enter Safe Mode, please perform the following:

1.First, completely power off the phone.

2.Then, power on the phone and when the Samsung logo appears, press and hold down the Volume down key.

3.If done correctly, "Safe Mode" will display on the bottom left corner of the screen. If "Safe Mode" does not appear, repeat the steps above.

4.Once you are in Safe Mode, you can remove the third-party app that is causing issues on your phone.

5.To exit Safe Mode, simply restart your phone and it will reboot normally.

If the issue still persists, the last option we have is to back up and factory reset the device.

Please visit the given link and follow the steps to perform back up and factory reset.

OK, so once in safe mode: how do you identify the third-party app(s) causing the issue? Step #4 is useless unless there's a way to identify the (possible) app(s) causing the problem.

I'm having similar issue with s23 ultra and not sure it's related to bluetooth. Frustrating when you think you ended the call and can't hang up even if you try a force stop via app settings. You can test this bug by calling any number with automated receptionist since they are waiting for you to choose an option. My thoughts is that is another app maybe with voip functionality could be causing the issue. Running Android 13 and one UI 5.1.

Anybody find a definitive answer for this?  Just got an S23+ and am having this issue.  Two issues actually... 1) call continues even after I click the hang up "button" on the phone screen. 2) when making a call, ring sound continues for 30ish seconds after the person answers and we're trying to talk.

I have the exact same issues, both of them. The phone continuing to ring after the person answers is super irritating, even using "Force Stop" for the Phone app in Settings/Apps doesn't resolve this. I have to do a full reboot to hang up the call.

My wife is having the same issue with her s23+. It happens with both the samsung dialer and the google dialer.
