Hi Dane90, Please clear the cache for the Messages application. Usually, The reception of SMS depends on network strength. I suggest you contact the carrier and let us know the information they gave you on this issue.

it is not a problem to the network, some messages arrive immediately, and some are delayed by 12 hours. I also went to the operator, replaced the sim card, but it's the same again. I even had this problem with the software update that came out 3 months ago. when the new update arrived the problem was solved. however the latest update from a few days ago repeated the same problem again

Hi Dane90, Thanks for explaining your examination in detail. Could you please reboot your device in safe mode and check if you have any issues like you mentioned. Is there any common point among the contacts from which you are receiving the messages delayed.

i have already tried the reboot and there have been no changes. and in the service they told me that there is probably a problem with the software and that with the newer version of android the problem will probably be solved. now it's just a question of when the new version of android will come out, although I don't think it will come out any time soon

Hi Dane90, Please try performing wipe cache partition as suggested by Cassidy and check if the issue got resolved. As of now, we don't have any information on the update schedule but I will let you know once received. Please write back to us after performing the wipe cache partition.

If you're using Samsung Messages, try Google Messages (or vice versa). That might help eliminate if the problem is the application.
