Hey there just wondering if anyone is experiencing the same problems as me since recent update, it's not just my S24 Ultra my father's is doing the same thing. Issue #1
I have a 45 Watt Charger phone was at 15% phone is max seeing 15 watts I'm not even getting the 25 watt charger speeds when j have a 45 Watt one.

Issue #2 Since the update iv noticed laggyness in loading and posting and scrolling honestly the UI is buggy I run it with 0 animations and it's still buggy.

Issue #3 Data Connection Full Bars 5G + data is now having troubles loading anything from the passed like old Facebook messages & also incoming Snapchats sending snapchats, its not my carrier as Mines Telus other S24 ultra is bell same issues.

Wondering if Samsung is aware of this and can fix this or if anyone else has any of these problems phone was A1 till July Patch Update.

( It is a software update problem because iv had the problem on an S22 Ultra Downgraded OS it charged with 45 Watts Updated back to current it wouldn't do it anymore)

Hi Cork97,

We are sorry to hear these issue from you on your devices after the update.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps Wipe cache partition. It is recommended to perform Wipe cache partition after every update. Please try Booting into Recovery by Wiping Cache partition. If you wipe your cache partition, it removes any temporary files that may be causing issues.

Hold the Power button and Volume Down to open the power options where choose the Power off > When the screen goes dark press the Volume Up and Power keys together > Let go of all held buttons when you see the Recovery mode on the screen > Then you should select Wipe cache partition. Use Volume Up to navigate and the Power button to accept it > Choose Yes and press the Power key to confirm that operation > After that select Reboot system now with the Power key.

For the network issue, please perform Reset your network settings.

Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings (Please note that this will reset Wi-Fi, Cellular data, and Bluetooth settings which means you will have to input your Wi-Fi credentials and pair Bluetooth devices again.

If nothing works as a last resort, please perform backup and factory reset the device by following the steps in the given links. https://www.samsung.com/ca/support/mobile-devices/galaxy-phone-back-up-and-restore-data/

I'm only going to address the Charging Speeds.

Open the Samsung Members app & Click on Support > Phone Diagnostics and run the Diagnostics for the USB Charging Port.

If you see "Super Fast Charging", I don't think that it's an issue.

I'm not sure, but I think I heard something about battery charging speeds being limited, in order to protect the battery.. I think!

If that's the case, it makes sense to me. I'd rather not destroy the battery, for a few minutes less on the charger.

Says Super Fast Charging 2.0 but not getting the correct watts while charging checked using ampere app and my cord has a wattage on it I have 4 of them and same issue since July update.

You know that Ampere fluctuates?

This is my S23 Ultra One UI V6.1 July Security Patch.

I personally would be giving it a second thought.

Yeah my old s22 ultra would charge 45 watts then an update came out it wouldn't do it anymore I flashed old firmware via Odin and it charged 45 watts again it's a software problem for sure I just can't see why they would let it happen.

like I suggested previously, I don't think that it's a problem. I think that it could well be done to protect the battery.

I REALLY don't think that there's anything nefarious about it. Maybe Samsung should have made a public statement, if in fact this is a deliberate move on Samsung's part, and with the best intentions.

To you it might not be a problem but for people who went out and bought the 45 Watt charger to get the faster speeds to then get an update that don't let them use the product they sell for more money is kinda sketchy lol, personal opinion I guess but I would rather have my phone keep doing it's charging advertised for.

I'm not offering any opinion on this, just relaying what I saw.

It's referring to the the S21 not your device... but it may still hold true?
