Galaxy SLooking at the number of issues you have posted, so far.
I'd be thinking about backing up the device & doing a Factory Reset.
And if it was my device, I wouldn't restore ANYTHING, and start completely fresh.
And when you start fresh, take your time when setting up your phone & things like Notifications, Android Auto etc.
It really shouldn't be this complicated, and especially with such a variety of issues.

Galaxy SOdd, I've had probably about a dozen Samsung devices, and never any issues, except for a Note device that was almost 5 years old, that had an eMMC failure.

Galaxy Sjust a little leery thinking won't get the entire backup back, or something will screw up. but, looking like it may be only fix.

Galaxy SHi, we appreciate you in trying all the necessary troubleshooting steps.
The only option we have is to back up the data and perform factory reset.
Let's hope this will fix the issue.
