after receiving some Push Notifications, normally you just touch them and it takes you right to that app and you can read the detail. however, I can't open SOME of the apps from Push Notifications. rather, it just does nothing on the Notification page (pull down page) after touching the Notification. the Notification just sits there, so i have to open the app itself normally to read what what the Notification is about.

happens a lot w/some tweets (none in particular that I've noticed), and some particular app push notifications i.e. Samsung Members, Draft Kings, ...).

any fix/heads-up?

Looking at the number of issues you have posted, so far.

I'd be thinking about backing up the device & doing a Factory Reset.

And if it was my device, I wouldn't restore ANYTHING, and start completely fresh.

And when you start fresh, take your time when setting up your phone & things like Notifications, Android Auto etc.

It really shouldn't be this complicated, and especially with such a variety of issues.

maybe just get a new device (not Samsung) and start fresh. this is about the 4th, 5th device of theirs and always huge issues.

Odd, I've had probably about a dozen Samsung devices, and never any issues, except for a Note device that was almost 5 years old, that had an eMMC failure.

yeah, not sure why, what the deal is but have had so many issues w/my S20, S9, S6, Galaxy 3. every time I asked for fixes, everybody said Factory Reset.

just a little leery thinking won't get the entire backup back, or something will screw up. but, looking like it may be only fix.
