S20+ Mic issues during video call

Hey, I recently got my S20+ and was testing out everything. I don't know if its a phone issue or software issue but whenever I was on video call (on both whatsapp and duo) my mic dropped. The screen froze for a second and then the other person couldn't hear me for maybe 15 seconds. Is this a common issue right now? Just wondering if you guys are experiencing similar problem

I don't have S20+. According to what you said, mic dropped and screen froze, this could be software issue or unstable network connectivity.

Hi Entertainer, Congrats on your new purchase.

Please check your mic with the Samsung Members app.

Follow these steps. ( Samsung Members app>>Get Help>>Interactive Checks>>Mic. Tap Record to record sound for 3 seconds.

Try a restart, as some time restart will also fix issues.

I have a new phone with everything transferred over. How do I clear & deactivate my old phone?

On yourOld phone. You can go to Settings→ General Management→ Reset
Choose Factory Data Reset

* Make sure you have everything transfer. This process cannot be undo

Then remove the sim card (If you have one in your old phone).

I have the same problem with my s20 ultra only in video call people can't hear me clearly 😭😭
