So... after the latest update, my Google Pay says that my phone doesn't meet the security requirements to use this app anymore...

I tried uninstalling and re-installing. Still same message.

Did anyone else encounter this?

And... seems like can't post pictures anymore in my post here... it automatically converts it to that "cover image obj" thing...

Works fine in the comments though... weirdScreenshot_20220120-215341_Google Play services_59947_1642733621.jpg

Is your phone rooted, by any chance?

Nope. I haven't modified anything. I don't even have developers mode active.

It just stopped working after the update.

Extremely unlikely, that it's even possible with the Snapdragon variant at this time.

Locked Bootloader and all. 😉

I don't use Google Pay, but try Uninstalling & Reinstalling Google Pay & see if that works?

The only other thing that I can think of right now would be to Backup with Smart Switch & Factory Reset.

I know that some apps don't seem to "like" being updated & short of a Factory Reset, Uninstalling & Reinstalling worked.

Yeah, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. It didn't do anything though.

Weird. I just installed Google Pay on my S20 Ultra One UI V4.0 & no problem 🤔

Hi Deeezzyyy, we suggest you go for backup and reset.

Here are the steps to backup your data:

Backup from Samsung account--Apps > Settings > Cloud > Backup > Select the data > Back up now.

Backup from Google account--Apps > Settings > Backup and reset.

Here are the steps for factory reset,

Settings>>General management>>Reset>>Factory data reset>>Scroll down to the bottom and tap on Reset>> Delete All.
