Hi all, I have been enjoying the camera on the S22 Ultra, and I am looking forward to seeing what the new UI update will bring to the camera.
Is there a better Camera App either for Free or for a Fee that claims to offer better usabilty ?, better features ? I have seen many apps but I am looking for real world experience.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Regards

Samsung's Cameras are some of the best.

I do also have G-Cam installed on my devices (pretty much always had a version of G-Cam). It used to have some advantages over Samsung's, ie: Night Sight, Panorama, PhotoSphere. But now I think that Samsung's Camera pretty much has everything except for PhotoSphere.

Here's the link to XDA and G-Cam's hub. You can search for the version for your device if you are interested.

Thank you RDR, I will take a look and test. I may wait until the update arrives and review the new camera features/ settings.

Here's a screenshot of the Photo Options on G-Cam.

They aren't as extensive as on Samsung's, but it does take quite good quality pictures. Mind you, I'm happy with just getting a half decent image.

I'm definitely not a shutter bug 😊

I have found that many of the camera apps do not support the 108MP camera, is this the same with G-Cam, I'll install it and test. I would have to say that the Camera is our main goto feature for the device ( wife and I each have the S22 Ultra)

G-Cam lets you choose between 1080p and 4K (Ultra High Resolution) on versions 7.4 and up.

And because of your question - I updated to the latest versions of G-Cam - Thanks for the prompt to do just that! 👍🏻

A lot more features & Settings! I'm quite impressed! 😊

Here's a link (referred to from XDA, so it is trusted).

You need to download the Camera apk AND the Config files to your phone.

Install the Camera apk first and then from your File Browser, Click on the Config file & select the G-Cam to open. It will then install the Config file automatically.
