S22 ultra picture gallery problem

So I take a lecture normally and csnnsee the pic in gallery

But when I open messages and try to attach its not there and I have to select folders and go into the file system of the unit

I think this started with ineui 5.1

Very odd and a pain for sending pics it doesn't seem to be a problem in like Facebook or Instagram just Google messages app

Hi, just to on confirm have you turned on chat features on the Google messages to attach images?

Also, have you checked your mobile Data is turned on, Connections >> Data Usage >> Mobile Data. Please verify that you do not have any Data Restrictions?
