Hi skyburn,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We understand you're experiencing an issue where using the Draw > Highlighter tool in the Gallery editor results in distortion or misalignment of previous edits when re-editing the same image.

In the meantime, we recommend the following workarounds:

Complete edits in one session: Try to finalize all drawing or highlighting before saving the image, as reopening for additional edits may cause previously saved strokes to appear distorted.

Use alternative tools: The Pen or Brush tools within the Draw menu do not seem to be affected by this issue and may offer a more stable editing experience.

Clear Gallery app cache: Go to: Settings > Apps > Gallery > Storage > Clear cache. This may help if the issue is related to rendering glitches.

To help us investigate further:

We kindly ask that you submit an error report via the Samsung Members app:

  1. Open Samsung Members

  2. Tap Support > Send feedback

  3. Choose Error reports > Select Gallery or Photo Editor

  4. Describe the issue in detail, and attach any relevant screenshots or screen recordings

This will allow our software team to collect log data and work toward a permanent solution.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to enhance your editing experience.
