Hey everyone, it's frustrating that all S24 models worldwide received the August security patches a month ago. Every site emphasized the importance of installing these updates. It's disappointing that Samsung Canada hasn't shown any signs of providing these updates. We spent over $1000 on our smartphones and it's frustrating to receive security updates later than cheaper phones from China that cost around $200.

Same here. Western Canada. Still on July update. You would think that a company of this size would be great with updates,seeing that they charge more than most for their phones.

I have an S21+ and an S24+. I had bought the S21 Ultra (pre-order) when it came out, I distinctly remembered have that same issue in August the year the S21s came out, majorly delayed in Canada. Now, objectively speaking, the August Security bulletin has been available and deployed in the US early this Month (August 7th or something like that) so, this means that the fact that on August 27th we still don't have the August bulletin in Canada is again a scrappy choice by Samsung, not an actual technical issue. There is, currently a bootloader flaw affecting EVERY Galaxy device that has not yet been patched to the August Security bulletin, it's been actively exploited in the wild since June. In conclusion, I just updated my S21+ to August update 10 mins ago..... Still nothing for my S24+.

Samsung canada does not give a rats *** about updates and security.
