Galaxy SHi MILAN16,
We appreciate your detailed observation regarding the Smooth Zoom feature and lens switching behavior in the standard Video mode. Unfortunately, as of now the Smooth Zoom feature appears to be exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series and is not supported in the standard Video mode on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, even after updating to One UI 7.
Regarding the camera performance degradation, we recommend the following steps to help restore optimal performance after a major software update:
Wipe Cache Partition:
-
Power off your device.
-
Hold Volume Up + Power until the Samsung logo appears.
-
Use volume buttons to navigate to Wipe cache partition and confirm with the power button.
Clear Camera App Cache: Go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage > Clear cache.
Reset Camera Settings: Open Camera > Tap the gear icon > Scroll down > Tap Reset settings.
Test After a Reboot: A fresh reboot can often reinitialize camera optimization routines.
If issues continue after these steps, we suggest to perform factory data reset. Before performing please ensure to back up your data.
