According to Samsung Australia, the upcoming S24 Ultra should be revealed on 17th January, 1PM.
What are you excited for?!
- New titanium frame?
- new colors? (Violet, Black, Grey and Yellow)
- filming at 4k, 120 fps

It seems that a lot of leaks have already been released but this time this announcement seems to be legit ☺️

I read somewhere that the cameras have been downgraded for the S24, wonder how true that is...and why?!

People are calling it a downgrade because one of the telephoto lens is going from a 10x to a 5x.

But the resolution is being bumped up to 50mp.

So it depends how you wanna see it, the downgrade is the optical zoom being lowered but also the upgrade is because the megapixel count is going up... lol

Only time will tell if it'll make that much of a difference but I'm not too concerned because many other brands only have an optical zoom lens of between 4x and 5x and they still perform as well or sometimes even better at long range zooms compared to the S23 Ultra because they have high megapixel counts.

Yeah, I've read something similar but I do believe they'll follow Apple's path with digital zoom and 3 lenses (mainly 200MP, 50MP, and 50MP). I have also read the contrary with improved cameras.

the earliest possible date would be the mid-February, but One UI 6.0 roll-out isn't even completed yet
