S25 Ultra SPen to control Camera

Hello,

Can somwone tell me how to get the Spen in the S25 Ultra to remote control the Samsun camera? I tried activating every feature to sPen and still cant get it to take pictures?

Hi SweetV29,

If your Galaxy S25 Ultra's S Pen isn’t triggering the camera shutter, let’s make sure everything is set up correctly:

Open the Camera app. Press the S Pen button once while the camera is open this should take a photo.

If it doesn’t work, go to Settings > Advanced Features > S Pen > Air Actions and ensure Camera is listed and enabled.

You should see a visual showing the assigned S Pen gestures tap Camera and confirm "Single Press" is set to Take Picture.

If the camera isn't showing in the Air Actions list, try restarting your device or re-pairing the S Pen by reinserting it.

Thanks, Helena, but nothing worked. The feature is not available because the sPen in the S25 Ultra is not Bluetooth enabled as per the response below.

I think Samsung dropped Bluetooth support for the S25 Ultra, so the camera control function is also removed. It's a terrible decision Samsung has made, and it's bad that the moderator doesn't know this until this time of the year.

Omg. That's what I thought. I followed all the steps mentioned above and nothing. Ok so it is the Bluetooth feature that's missing from the pen. Ugh this ***. Selfie and Wefies just became harder again.

You have to use a ring or a watch to do those actions now. Unfortunately, no more S Pen for photos. This used to be a really cool feature.

Wait. How do I use my watch? I have the Watch 7? How do I do that

Turn on the camera app on your watch. You will then be able to control your phone's camera with your watch. You can also Double Pinch to take pictures as well.
