I purchased a subject line phone in June, Bell is my carrier.  I have twice tried to travel to US and wanted to use my roaming data, which Bell confirms is available for my account.  The phone will not permit me to use roaming data.

Is use of roaming data a feature that can't be used by this version of Samsung phone?

Hi Members_UT6efEU,

The inability to use roaming data on your Samsung phone (purchased in June, with Bell as your carrier) is not due to the phone's model or version, as the Samsung phones, including those sold by Bell, are fully capable of using roaming data. The issue is more likely related to settings, carrier configuration, or restrictions on your account.

Confirm Roaming Data is Enabled: Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks. Ensure Data Roaming is turned on.

If it’s already on, toggle it off and then back on to refresh the setting.

Understood - i can receive calls and SMS texts while roaming,  but cannot use roaming data which made me confused about the cause.

Unfortunately, your S20 FE 5G might not support international roaming.

I suggest you contact Bell to confirm and troubleshoot.

Restarting your phone or checking for updates might also help.
