My Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 512GB unable to send video via Whatsapp v2.23.21.85.

1. Can't send videos that record directly from Whatsapp
2. Can't send videos that recorded from phone camera.
3. Able to send videos with HD quality in Whatsapp only

Videos were all recorded with .mp4 without HEVC (High efficiency videos, High bitrate videos and HDR10+ videos all been disabled)

Maybe a setting in the apps permissions or in the phones settings for wifi vs cellular maybe where I would look

Try this:

  • Open the Samsung Camera & Click on IT'S Settings & Scroll down to "Reset Camera".
  • Go to Settings > Apps Search for WhatsApp & Click on it > Scroll down to Storage & Clear Both Cache & Data for WhatsApp. Reboot & Login to WhatsApp again.

See if either of these helps?

Hi, I request you to please perform Safe Mode on the device and check the issue again.

To enter Safe Mode, please perform the following:

First, completely power off the phone.

Then, power on the phone and when the Samsung logo appears, press and hold down the Volume down key.

If done correctly, "Safe Mode" will display on the bottom left corner of the screen.

If "Safe Mode" does not appear, repeat the steps above.

Once you are in Safe Mode, you can remove the third-party app that is causing issues on your phone.

To exit Safe Mode, simply restart your phone and it will reboot normally.

Important: When you exit Safe Mode, some of your customization options (wallpapers, themes, etc.) may be reset to default.

Safe Mode will disable all 3rd party apps, including WhatsApp. So how would Safe Mode provide any information about sending videos in Safe Mode, when WhatsApp is disabled?
