Agree, I use Samsung Message still. This is my own preference. Tried Google message for few months, is colourful and support some nice features that Samsung message app doesn't have, for instance, like a message. But it is not a big deal to me.

It doesn't
Samsung Messages DOES fully support RCS and has for several months now.
IN the menu of Samsung Messages you just need to enable 'Chat' and as long as your provider supports RCS then it works.
search to prove me wrong.

@TheOnlySingularity
.
Yes you can use Samsung Messeages.
Go into settings and search for 'default'.
Select Default Apps,
Choose Samsung Messages.
Once done,
From home screen search for Messages, tap and hold Google Messages and select disable.
Done.

I just wanted to add an FYI for everyone in this chat a link that shows a great head to head comparison of options, features, and the layout between both Google Messages vs Samsung messages:
https://www.guidingtech.com/samsung-messages-vs-android-messages/
its a good simplistic read, no favourites are chosen in this link btw.
Cheers to everyone.

So, if Samsung wants us to use Google messages, why not tell us how to uninstall Samsung messages?
