I'm looking for a way to remove my music widget from my lock screen. In lock screen settings in my phone under the widgets category the music tab is off. Inside of the music app itself the control music from lock screen tab is off yet that stupid widget is still there and changes music while my phone is in my pocket. Even though I have 'prevent accidental touches' turned on.
Is there a way to get rid of this stupid thing other than using a new music player?

Download GoodLock from Galaxy store and then the separate apps. Lots of customization for lock screen and other settings.

Hi, so I finally got around to installing Good lock 4 days ago, and since then, on two of those days, my pocket now calls 911 instead of messing with my music. I cannot for the life of me find a way to get rid of that phone icon in the bottom right inside of the good lock settings. Do you know of a way to do that or some other way to stop this phone from meeting with a hammer?

Here's my Goodlock and 911 notifications. I'm assuming it's the button in the bottom right that is doing this **bleep** now?Screenshot_20210719-110823_Messages_103500.jpgScreenshot_20210719-111113_Nova Launcher_103501.jpg

Hi, is the issue still persisting after trying the above troubleshooting steps?

I'm not sure what kind of device those steps in the troubleshooting are for but it is absolutely not for an s20fe running one UI 3.1. You can't get farther than the connection screen using those steps before you hit a brick wall. If you try and guess that where you may be trying to lead a person nothing in the Samsung account gives you those options nothing really any of it points to any way to fix anything. Apparently I cannot upload the screen recording, so here are step by step screenshots of me trying to follow those steps. No options with anything like you mention in the Accounts settings nor in the App Manager either. Like nowhere does any of that work.Screenshot_20210719-155140_Samsung account_103516.jpgScreenshot_20210719-155018_Permission controller_103513.jpgScreenshot_20210719-154639_Settings Suggestions_103511.jpgScreenshot_20210719-155131_Samsung account_103514.jpg

I can however tell you that the accidental touch protection setting and the control music from lock screen setting are completely worthless. Because there it is, forever on my lockscreen that shouldn't be waking up in a pocket!Screenshot_20210719-160147_Settings Suggestions_103520.jpgScreenshot_20210719-160214_Samsung Music_103521.jpgScreenshot_20210719-160339_Samsung Music_103522.jpg

One logical step you could think a person would be missing is in the lock screen settings. You would think having the music widget turned off in the lock screen settings would actually turn the music widget off on the lock screen, but that's just another worthless toggle.Screenshot_20210719-160536_Settings_103523.jpg

Hi, you need to go to your manage applications section of the phone,  to get there, pull down the taskbar at the top of the page.

Go to settings>>connections>>my device>> accounts>>more.

Choose "more"  and select Application Manager.

Scroll to the right for different categories: download, SD card, running, all Select All and scroll down to Samsung Music and open.

You have an option to turn it off. turn it off.
