Samsung Pay not working S22 Ultra

Hi Everyone 

I have a S22 Ultra purchased in Thailand where I live which is an upgrade on my Note 20 ultra. 

I'm been travelling in Singapore and Australia, however when I installed Samsung Pay it says it's not supported on my phone! What? 

My Note 20 ultra, again purchased in Thailand has no issues when I traveled outside of Thailand, it worked perfectly. 

The kicker is Google pay works without a hitch. 

I've spent hours on the phone to Samsung who have escalated the issue but without a response or solution. 

Any ideas?
